Abstract (EN)

With her giant population and geography, People?s Republic of China is a candidate for being a superpower in 21st century. Chinese economy is not a complementary but a competitive economy with Turkish economy. In recent years, China has appeared as a serious competitor either in domestic market and Turkey?s traditional exports markets and became a thread especially for Turkish manufacturing industry. In order to convert this threat to an opportunity, taking a good share from the emerging Chinese market is required. In this thesis, the approach of Turkish exporters to Chinese market has been analyzed. In the first and second chapter, historical and general information about Turkish and Chinese foreign trade is presented, the foreign trade politics of Turkey is summarized and environmental factors of Chinese market has been compiled and examined. In the third chapter, international marketing strategies have been examined. In the fourth chapter in-site study has been presented and the results were discussed. In the conclusion chapter, the results of in-site study and the environmental aspects of Chinese Market have been synthesized
