Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on the effect of Turkish culture and personality on personnel selection and placement, improvement of career, motivation, work commitment and decrement of turnover in term of human resource management. It is discussed the importance of cultural differences not only for organizations for but also for the employees. Also in the study, interview technique is used in the application section and the information obtained is interpreted by descriptive analysis. The aim of this study is to investigate the structure of the Turkish culture and personality can be found in how it affects the management of human resources. Managers of national or international organizations, working with Turkey, to know the peculiarities of the Turkish people and to facilitate communication and culture to improve their policies accordingly and it is important to improve the success rate in terms of employees.
