Özet (EN)

Myths have changed according to the situation of societies. While communication between people was limited in the first ages, it has developed with new methods and techniques over time. This development process has enabled many legends to reach the present day. Mythology is the branch of science that studies where legends come from, how they are formed, and their similarities or differences in different cultures. Nations have their own mythological narratives. Turkish mythology is also a rich field with its narratives. When the narratives are deepened, what the woman means to Turkish mythology has become an important issue. Among the legends in Turkish mythology, the characteristics and characteristics of women, their positions in the family and the duties they undertake, the similarities and differences between male characters and women show us the perspective of Turkish history and mythology on women. In Turkish myth, woman is described as a sacred being and neither the state nor family affairs could work without women. There were times when the female characters were able to do the things that the male characters could do, and even surpassed them. In this research, legends about women were investigated in the axis of Turkish mythology, composition arrangements and printing applications were made for the high printing technique with an interdisciplinary approach for the determined narratives.
