The relationship between composition and lyrics of Kar-i Nâtiks in classical Turkish music

This study, named "The Relationship of Kar-ı Nâtık's Composition and Lyrics in Turkish Music", consists of five part. In the first part, where the problem situation is discussed, the purpose, importance, assumptions and limitations of the research as well as related definitions are discussed. In the second part, there are data such as the method part of the study, the model of the research, the population and the sample, the collection and analysis of the data. In the third part, accurate information about the Language-Music relationship was given from general to specific, then information was given about Phonetics, which is the science of phonology, then again, accurate information about the musical diction Prosody and the elements that make up Prosody, from general to specific, and finally, about the Kar-ı Nâtik form information is given. In the fourth part, under the heading of findings and interpretation, necessary examinations and analyzes were made by considering the relationship between Kar-ı Nâtık's Composition and Lyrics in Turkish music, which constitutes the sample of the study takes. The research was handled within the framework of "Qualitative" research and "Descriptive" method was used. In line with the descriptive method, the "Survey" model was used. Data; literature review, observation and interview, content analysis, musical analysis methods were used. All data obtained through these techniques used for the research subject were analyzed and interpreted. While this study revealed the importance of prosody in composition techniques, it once again emphasized the importance of Kar-ı Nâtık's in terms of both the continuation of artistic works and teaching our music. It is thought that our study will contribute to what elements should be considered while creating new works, and will play an important role in which works are taken as reference.
