Abstract (EN)
"Lenk-Fahte" and its usage in Turkish Music. "Lenk-Fahte" has come in to use in Turkish music during 17 century. It is the only form in composition among the 10-period beating form and the only one that has ybeen used especially in Nakış form. Zekâi Dede is accepted as the master of this timing though he is not the first one to use but because of the way he has used it in his works. This timing has been measured for semibreve notes (Whole-note beatings) but the same success has not been ensured for quavers (eighth - note beatings) Dr. Suphi Ezgi, Rauf Yekta Bey & Ahmet Irsoy, who are known as the musicologists of.the tine, have shown the necessary importance for this timing. The most important matter on this timing is the "metre". The metres which are called as "Müstefılâtün, MUstefilün, & Ifefülü" have of ten been wed though they are given up from time to time. This timing has been used by Saadettin KAYNAK & Zeki Arif ATAERGİN who are the composers of our time and works have been written with this timing.
