Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate Turkish and Portuguese pre-service elementary school teachers' sentiments, attitudes, and concerns about inclusive education. The descriptive survey method has been used in the research. The sample group of this study consists of 241 pre-service elementary school teachers in Turkey and Portugal in 2015-2016 academic years. In order to collect data, the researcher has used with Turkish and Portuguese adopted version of The Sentiments, Attitudes, and Concerns about Inclusive Education Scale Revised (SACIE-R) developed by Forlin, Earle, Loreman, & Sharma (2011). The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scales were calculated as .88 for Turkish version and .74 for Portuguese version. All collected data has been analyzed by SPSS program. At this process, the collected data has been analyzed in terms of descriptive statistics and independent t test. According to the result of the research there is a significant relationship between Turkish and Portuguese pre-service elementary school teachers' sentiments, attitudes, and concerns about inclusive education.
