Abstract (EN)
Art and artist have always existed as a field of research since the past. This subject is the focus of attention of scientists as well as artists and works of art. Topics related to art and artists, which are discussed and processed in various types of art, have similarly become an area that writers in literature touch upon in their works. In Turkish novel, especially the 1950s were the periods when writers were in search of new languages, forms and themes. In the search for new subjects, art and artists also took their place and began to be discussed in novels. In this study, it was researched from which aspects the subject was addressed in the novels between 1950 and 1980. In the first part of the study, the conceptual framework of art, artists, works of art, aesthetics and craft, which are the subject of the novels, is emphasized. In addition, where necessary, the meaning and content changes that the concepts have undergone in the historical process are mentioned. In the second chapter, after the definition of novel, its historical process in world literature and Turkish literature is mentioned. In the third part, the ways in which branches of art such as literature, dance, sculpture and architecture are discussed in the works of the writers of the period are included. At this point, it is observed that the authors focus on the thematic and technical elements of various genres in their works. In addition, how these arts were affected by the political and social life of the period is also discussed in the works. Here, it can be observed that sometimes there are individual and sometimes common perspectives in the works within the framework of the subject. In the fourth chapter, it is emphasized that the authors convey the features of art and the artist to the readers by establishing a connection with them.
