Abstract (EN)
The transportation sector has taken part in the governance policies of the governments from the past to the present, it has become one of the indispensable weapons of the countries in many points from defense to trade on a global scale. Aviation, the sub-branch of transportation systems; continues its development with an innovative technology and sustainable competition in a wide range from military to civil. Directed by various international organizations, local authorities, aircraft and spare parts manufacturers, airline and airport enterprises civil aviation industry is an effective transportation system used in intercontinental cargo and passenger transportation. It has been the heart of global economy, international trade and world tourism and it has been demanded by every segment with its fast, reliable and comfortable transportation service. It paused and even declined due to economic crises, epidemics, terrorist attacks. Civil aviation, which is a vibrant service sector in terms of the geographical location of our country, has been tried to be researched and developed. In this master work SWOT Analysis of Civil Aviation in Turkey; Strengths and weaknesses of the sector were tried to be identified under the heading of internal factors, while external factors were given opportunities to turn the sector into strengths and recommendations and tried to determine and the threats are tried to be determined. For this purpose, a literature review has been made, the works of domestic and foreign institutions in the sector were examined.
