Abstract (EN)

In this research, the Alevism and the Alevis have been tried to examine the effects on Turkish political life. First of all, The formation of Alevism within the historical formation process is discussed. It has been tried to be shown that Alevism started as a side of the discussion on the power device of the Muslim community from the death of the prophet. In this respect, İt is seen that there is an origin union between Alevism and Shia. Ismailiyye, which was formed by the division of Shia into quarters in time, was seen as the basic dynamic of Anatolian Alevism. Ismailiyya was mentioned together with Esoterism. Isma'ili beliefs to be distant to the worship of Islam provide opportunity the pre-Islamic beliefs to continue even after they became Muslims. Turkish Alevism emerged as a political reaction with the Babai revolt. In the following periods, this political reaction was repeated at certain intervals. In this study, the tensions between the Ottoman Empire and Safavids were discussed. In this study, the tensions between the Ottoman Empire and the Safavids and the attitude of the Alevi community towards the two states in the Anatolian geography were discussed. Adoption of the Ottoman State Sunnism caused tensions with the Alevi community. One of the axes of tension was heterodoxicity and orthodoxicity. Alevism was in opposition in the Ottoman Empire was also related to the heterodox structure of this belief. With the adoption of Laicism, the heterodoxy of Alevism has ceased to be a matter of political debate. The Alawites therefore look for Laicism as the insurance of their beliefs. Established Republic after the Ottoman Empire adopted nationalism as the main social bond. In this study Alevism is also considered in the context of nationalization of religion as a result of nationalism. The debates on nationalization of religion in the last century have led to the emergence of nationally defined types of Alevism. Some of the Turkish nationalists tend to see Alevism as 'Turkish national religion'. Among the Kurdish nationalists, there are those who have installed the Kurdish national religious mission to Alevism. Studies conducted during the study showed that the political attitudes of the Alevi community showed periodic changes. The period of single-party and multiparty, Cold war period and post cold war period, Post- eighty globalization and effective period of identity politics were the processes in which the Alevi political attitudes showed periodic changes. Eighty-Pre Alevis were sensitive to identity politics and left politics. Eighty-after they turned to public visibility and organization. It can be said that sharp political approaches replaced the eighty-after place with softer political attitudes. In this research, the effects of Alevi society on Turkish foreign policy were also emphasized. In the relations with neighboring countries and the EU, it was understood that the Alevi community had effects on Turkish politics.
