Incapacity allowance in Turkish Social Security system and implementation results

Payments are given to the insurance holder in case of work accident, occupational disease, sickness and maternity status or loss of income due to the cases listed above which occured. The purpose of this thesis is to explain the temporary or permanent incapacity allowance in detail and to evaluate the indicators about the disability implementation and problems occured during the disability period. In the first chapter; the concept of disability, its ground in social security laws and work accident, occupational disease, sickness or maternity are explained in detail. In chapter two, disability implementation is explored. In the third chapter, indicators about the disability implementation and problems occured during the disability period are analysed. And the thesis is finalized with the interpretation of the regal regulations, inspections of legal verdicts and assesment of the current official statistactics.
