Abstract (EN)

In the first part of the paper, the hatred and hate speech are handled, and the development of the concept of hate speech is explained in the historical process. In addition, the concepts of discrimination, prejudice, homophobia, stigmatization, stereotyping and zenophobia which are effective in the emergence of the concepts of hate speech are examined in detail. In the second part of the study, the historical development process of the Turkish sports press is considered. It is focused on the patriarchal, militarist and sexist discourses that the Turkish sports press has used in the news production stage, by touching on the changes and transformations of the Turkish sports press during the period from the emergence to the present day. In the last part of the study, the hate speeches thet the Turkish written sports press used in news texts are examined by subjecting to the discourse analysis in AMK, Fanatik and Fotomac newspapers.
