Identification of Turkish agriculture by cluster analysis in European Union

Abstract (EN)
European Union is a kind of community, where countries coincide with definite economic aims. Member countries are to obey some policies. Agricultural policy is one of the most important policies. That policy is a comprehensive mechanism, which is processing in the frame of various rules constituted to be protected predetermined common prices. In this research work, position of the Turkish Agriculture sector was defined within European Union. For this purpose, Cluster Analysis was used. According to result of Cluster Analysis; Turkey, Greece, Denmark, Portugal, Luxembourg and Finland appeared in the same cluster; France, Belgium, Italy, Holland and England formed another one. Although France and Germany took place in some of clusters, Germany got ahead of the countries, in above mentioned clusters, and formed a single-cluster.
