The transportation which has been developed in connection with the purpose of supplying goods that countries need in the expanding economy, is a significant term today. Removal contracts which are commonly associated with the term "door to door transport" are regulated for the first time in Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, from Article 894 to Article 905. The reason behind regulating a new kind of contract while transportation contract is already regulated, is that the freight requires expertise because of its specialties. Situations for which there are no provisions in removal contract articles, articles of road transportation contract are applied. Therefore, in the study, the topic is explained with general concepts and examples of situations that regulations regarding transport contracts are applied to removal contracts. Afterwards, liability deriving from removal contract is addressed. Keywords: Moving goods, Removal Contract, Responsibility, Transportation business, Commercial business.
