Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine the some physical and performance parameters of male badminton player's who participated Championship of Turkey Universities Badminton Super League In this study; the subject group includes totally 34 volunteer sportsmen who are at the age of 22,03±1,96, height of 177±6,53 cm and weight of 78,46±12,4 kg. The somatotype, body composition and some performance parameters (flexibility, vertical jump, hand-back-leg power etc.) are made stable with the area and laboratory tests. Mean, standart deviation, minimum and maximum values are used in the analysis of the datas. It was found that left, right hand grip, back and knee strength were as 44,87±7,56kg, 49,44±8,95kg, 128±25,81kg and 176±58,29kg. It was determined that the values of flexibilty were as 25,11±8,52 cm. and the vertical jump was found as 47,91±9,90 cm. The badminton players endomorph; mesomorph and ektomorph values was detected as 3,19±1,02; 5,11±1,34 and 2,04±1,16. According the result of the research, badminton players meso-endomorph features are dominant. In conclusion, According to the obtained datas which are compared with the literature, hand- leg power and vertical jump parameters were found high in badminton players played in the university?s teams.
