ABSTRACTYüksel, İlksen. Foreigners' Activities In Tourism Sector Under Turkish Foreigners Law, Master Thesis, Ankara, 2007.According to The Law Encouraging Tourism that has been deliberated when scrutinizing aliens' activities in tourism sector under Turkish Foreigners Law, real or legal foreign persons may have tourism enterprises without regarding a partnership condition with Turkish real or legal persons. Tourism enterprises enjoy all encouragement, exceptions, dispersions and rights without domestic-foreign discrimination. For example, in the scope of encouragement, immovable goods may be allocated to also foreign enterprises. In addition, foreign personnel employment opportunity in domestic and foreign enterprises has also been provided. The Law also includes considerably eligible provisions for foreigners in maritime tourism subject.Foreigners who wants to make tourism investment and/or entrepreneurship or work in a tourism enterprise in Turkey, first of all, shall have a domicile right under general provisions. In certificated tourism enterprises, foreign expert personnel and artists may be employed with the permission of Working and Social Security Ministry. Working permissions shall be given to these foreigners according to general provisions. The provisions laid under the topic of "Maritime Tourism" in Tourism Encouragement Act constitute and exemption from Coast Trading Act and provide eligible opportunities to foreigners. The most important convenience that tourism legislation finished to foreign tourism investors has been provided about immovable good allocation. Acquisition of immovable goods that are in culture and tourism protection and development areas may be exempted from the restrictions related with foreigners in Title Deed Act with a Council of Ministers' Decision.
