A research on writing expression mistakes of Russian who learns Turkish language

The aim of this research is to identify and evaluat problems of Russian while learning Turkish language. Therefore, screening model was used. The study population consists of Ankara University TÖMER, Gazi University TÖMER, preparatory class located within the foreign language high school in Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University. Interviews were used to collect data. Written expression, grammar writing exams and questions of individuals prepared by researchers in the sample according to the Turkish education level based on expert opinions in the universe are also used in the research. Educational level, gender, nationality, native language, second language, age and learning level of individuals who participated in writing expression are identified in the research. Overall in teaching Turkish to foreigners already be less of the available resources has shown that this issue is neglected throughout history. Specifically, it has been observed that Russian speakers have difficulty especially in speech and expression while learning Turkish language because of absence of Turkish language instruction set for Russian speakers according to the European Language Portfolio and the scarcity of research in this field. As a result of the study, it is determined that Russian people have difficulties in the all language learning skills, their difficulties are especially in written expression while learning Turkish. It is determined that they have difficulties while learning Turkish in the issues such as vovabulary, verbs case suffixes, pronunciation and grapheme due to Turkish and Russian langugages ar in different from their families both in terms of structure as well as the source of language family. Various suggestions have been made based on the results obtained from the study.
