Examining the competences of instructors working in Turkish education centers to provide a positive classroom climate

The objective of this thesis is to determine the perceptions of instructors working at Turkish education centers in affiliation with official universities regarding their competences of providing a positive classroom climate and the perceptions of students receiving education at the aforementioned institutions regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. The thesis can be regarded as a study in which the performance of instructors is evaluated by students, because in the study, it was determined that the perceptions of students regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. In the thesis which is a screening-model quantitative study, it was concluded that instructors had very high perceptions regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate. It was also observed that students had very high perceptions regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. It was determined that there was a significant difference between the perceptions of instructors and the perceptions of students which was caused by higher perceptions of instructors than the perceptions of students. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the perceptions of students regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate according to the variables of "gender" and "age". It was also found that there was a statistically significant difference in the perceptions of students regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate according to the variable of "professional seniority".
