Verbal adjectives in Turkish

Abstract (EN)

The verbal adjectives are the grammatical categories which connected nonfinite verbal forms and on duty to translate verbs to nouns without changing their meanings. This subject contains many details on account of their functions and the morphems that carry out them, for Turkish language. Theoric back side of this subject is not examined in Turkish grammar works and is approachedby a formalist mind. Therefore, there are complex points that must be explained, about the subject. This work that is prepared with the aim of discussing these complex points and clearingup them, consists Entrance, Verbal Adjective Category, Verbal Adjectives, The Dictonary Of Terms That Are Used In Te Work sections. In Entrance section, information is given about the nonfinite verbal forms due to verbal adjectives, are member of this category. In Verbal Adjective Category section, theoric back side of this subject is discussed by content as supplements, relation with time, aspect, sentence structure. The outputs that are get with these discussions, consist materials for he next seciton Verbal Adjectives. In Verbal Adjectives section. the syntax examples that contains verbal adjectives which were taken texts belong to today?s Turkish, are classified acoording to their functions and morphemes and their?s examined conditions are written according to their function title numerals. In last part of this work, there is a The Dictonary Of Terms That Are Used In Te Work section that contains the terms are used in the work.
