Common words and affixes between Turkish and Mongolian

In this study, common elements of Turkish and Mongolian included in Old and Middle Turkish texts were tried to be identified. In the first part, common words in Mongolian and Turkish in Old Turkish texts are identified. The study consists of three main sections: "Introduction", determination of common words in "Turkish and Mongolian", "Mongolian Elements in Chagatay Turkish in Middle Turkish Period" , "Mongolian elements in Old Anatolian Turkish ". In the introduction of the study, a brief information about the Altay language family is given and the views of researchers who oppose the theory are examined. Later, information about the relationship of the Turkic and Mongol languages, their influence on each other, and the history of the two languages are given under separate headings. In the "Determination of Common Words in Turkish and Mongolian" section, Turkish and Mongolian words scanned through Old Turkish texts take place respectively. In the section "Mongolian Elements in Chagatay Turkish in the Middle Turkish Period", brief information is given about some important works of Middle Turkish. In addition, research is carried out by giving information about the views of the researchers on the Mongolian elements in Chagatay Turkish. In the "Mongolian Elements in Old Anatolian Turkish" section, brief information about Old Anatolian Turkish is given and the articles and works of some researchers have been used in the same direction with the second part, and the common elements of Turkish and Mongolian in the works have been tried to be examined.
