Özet (EN)

Orhan Kemal benefited from a wide range of people who different from each other in his works based on life. He was not a man of socialist action, but he showed the situation between social classes in his works. He agreed that a writer cannot remain outside the community and the writer is dependent on society lived. He thought that authors have great responsibilities for development of society. While he was dealing with relations of classes, he was on the side with the poor, workers and villager, so he was on the side with oppressed. Orhan Kemal believed that there was even good side of bad people. In his opinion, man is actually not bad. Goodness and badness are shaped in the society. Happiness or unhappiness is powered by society which people lived. Social order that is part of people is lacking to make them happy. He studied to show that corruptions, causes of unhappiness produced by the order and he tried to deliver a warning. Also he invited people to change this order cooperatively. After the World War 2, Turkey identified the location of the new balance and took steps as appropriate in this location. Strategies applied in international area had some reflection in the national. This was recognized that governing party caused distress induced by the war, and the results of this opinion, opposition was occurred against the founder, reformist party. Turkey located next to the countries has adopted the conception of capitalist democracy, when passing the multi-party system newly established parties began to make opposition voice heard. Democrat Party was an important party of all opposition parties. The party came to power in elections of 1950 and opened the door to a new era. The policies implemented during the power continue to be discussed even today. Orhan Kemal was a writer who lived in the period includes World War 2 and after, Democrat Party's years. According to his perception of art, he didn't fall outside of the community and changes was took place in his novels. His fourteen novels were found the effects of the changes to society, especially in thought, dreams and lifestyle of poor and the economy and policy decisions taken by the government of the period.
