Abstract (EN)
Liberalism is a modern ideology based on freedom and rational individualism in the economic and political arena. Liberalism, which advocated the limited state, constitutional rule, rule of law and market-friendly state principles, was seen as an instrument of integration with the world in the late twentieth century in Turkey. The process of economic liberalization, which plays a role in the solution of Turkey's economic problems, has maintained its existence as a strong choice in economic policies, even though it was interrupted occasionally in the political arena, the experience of liberalization played second fiddle. Having experienced second liberalization in the 2000's, Turkey has defeated the chronic economic problems of the 1980's. We will try to discuss the success of Turkey's liberalization in our Ph.D. thesis, which we handled through the economic, political and social reflections of the liberalization process since 1980 to present. In our thesis, we will try to make the claims about how to achieve this success by evaluating the obstacles to the success of liberalization of Turkey on the axis of liberal fundamental values. Key words:Liberalism, Liberalization, Turkey
