Abstract (EN)
The most popular prime time program format for mainstream TV news channels in Turkey is discussion programs that last for hours. These programs can be considered as tools for framing current issues and setting the agenda by reflecting the perspectives of a limited number of people who have been selected from a large group of experts by different mechanisms. In this study the production process these programs and the selection criteria of the guests are analysed within the general framework of the current state of politics media relationship.
