Abstract (EN)

Energy is required to be ready for use at any time and at any desired place. Energy storages called when we want to keep it for use. There are many different forms of energy storage methods. Scope of this study was to investigate the theoretical energy storage and energy storage methods. In this study, the main energy storage, compressed air energy storage method, which iso ne of the methods are discussed and a saltdome in accordance with the thermodynamic and economic studies done on the system in three different comparison systems have been introduced. The efficiency of the compressors according to the calculations, LP 0.79, 0.83 for IP and HP 0.83 for the turbines to LP efficiencies calculated as 0.79 and 0.83 for HP and the data was analyzed in each of the three systems. Total system with heat storage system under study yields 0.39 efficiency with a yield of 0.33 and 0.34 yield the traditional yield is more efficient than gas turbine system have been revealed. Total investment cost, financing and depreciation costs as a result of evaluation of efficiency of the system as a heat storage system, which is the highest with a payback period of 4.6 years is estimated to be the most economical system. Under the traditional system of economic analysis, payback period of 5.5 years of operation of the gas turbine is combined with a working system to be 4.9 years. Each of the three cycle system of calculations made on the basis of 40 cycle the average annual profit of $ 160 million that has been provided. Keywords: Energy storage, salt dome, compressed air, energy
