Financial problems of municipalities Turkey and solutions

In Turkey, local governments have divided into three parts as, special provincial administration, municipalities and village administrations. Municipalities in these are offer more services to citizens than the other local administrations units. At the present day, nearly eighty-three percent countries population are living in municipality areas and to utilize municipalities local services.Local governments should have got a financial sources that they need because the fastest and the highest quality services represents their citizens in their boundries. Municipalities in Turkey have many duties and responsibilities however, at municipalities don?t have income to make this duty. Therefore, municipalities in Turkey have very serious financial problems.In this reseach, we want to focused on the financial problems, and how to be solved these problems for the local governments. What has to be done in order for the local governments to give a quick and productive service to its citizens was emphasized.
