Turkey Bolanthus (Ser.) Rchb. (Caryophyllaceae) investigate the surface of the seeds taxa

Bolanthus (Ser.) Rchb. many species of genus are endemic to my country. Seed surface characteristics of the genus taxa in Caryophyllaceae family were examined and similarities and differences between taxa were revealed. Characteristics of seed surface features are important characters with taxonomic value. Today's work reveals the importance of distinguishing seed surface character types. Seeds of the taxa were imaged by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The pictures taken were evaluated with the literature and a common description was made for each taxon. As a result of the study, it was determined that the seeds were in the form of a comma, usually brown, tubercular, granular. The identified characters were presented in tabular form and the differences between the taxa were determined.
