Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to investigate the applicability and sustainable availability of pipe as an alternative energy source in Turkey, which is used primarily in the world and which turkey is highly dependent on, due to the fact that it will be depleted in the near future. For this purpose, sodium borhydride, magnesium diborite and boron-11 are discussed as boron products. For this purpose, analysis of Turkey's general boron structures, competitiveness levels on pipe fuel costs and nuclear fusion based electricity generation potentials was carried out using graphical and mathematical methods. For this analysis, data obtained from numerous national-international organizations were acted on. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that sodium borohydride can compete with other fuel technologies in Turkey as fuel, 4% of Turkey's electricity needs can be met with potential electricity production based on boron-11 fusion, and electrical transmission and distribution losses can be reduced with the use of magnesium diboryte. In order for all this to happen, Turkey is primarily based on boron; it is emphasized that the existing production capacity and production should be increased, the supply structure should be shifted in favor of domestic consumption, and the research and development structure should be expanded in favor of the energy, chemical and mining sectors. In the event of these, it was found that a large part of Turkey's energy deficit could be reduced and higher added value could be achieved compared to the income from boron exports.
