Abstract (EN)

In this study examines the economic relations between Turkey and Chad as well as the investment opportunities and risks between 2008-2018 period from Chad's perspective. Chad's economy is mainly based on mining, oil, agriculture and livestock sectors whereas the Turkish economy is mainly based on industry and services. The industrial sector in Chad is still underdeveloped while the country offers opportunities in many fields with its large agricultural land and young population. However, the economic relations between Turkey and Chad, businessmen and potential investors are unable to show improvements over the years due to lack of information. Therefore, this study is important in terms of revealing the investment opportunities offered by both countries and the risks faced by investors and businessmen. Research results shows that Chad's investment opportunities and Turkey with its technology and international experience, when combined with entrepreneurship, and finance can predict quite fruitful results.
