Examining the details of the application of the facede, build with a stick system in Turkey

Technological developments affecting the construction materials and the construction industry have influenced the introduction of different building materials into the building use. The developments in building construction techniques have influenced the facade construction systems and introduced the concept of curtain wall in the historical process. The concept of curtain wall, which was first used in the 1800s, has started to find use in high-rise buildings since the 1900s. Curtain wall II. It has become a symbol of tall buildings with the increased aluminum production during the world war. With the development of light suspended curtain wall systems, the building weight decreased while the possibility of rising floors increased and thus found widespread use in modern building facades of the 21st century. Within the scope of the study, firstly, the basic information of the study to be carried out with theoretical foundations and resource research was obtained. In the second part, the concept of curtain wall is examined in detail, and system components are defined in order to understand the details correctly. In the continuation of the section, curtain wall application processes are examined. In the third part of the study determined the details of the rod system components implemented in Turkey in terms of the scope of analysis and field study was conducted to compare the identified sample project through the system. Within the scope of the information obtained at the end of the section, the systems were evaluated according to the determined criteria. In the conclusion part, the details of the curtain wall applications are evaluated and the advantages and disadvantages of the systems are determined according to the fixing components.
