Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to write the stories written by the fourth grade students of primary school, who study at public primary and private primary schools; determining the length of the sentence, adjective, pronoun, and narrative forms and determining whether there is a difference between the stories written by students according to the type of school. In the research, various domestic and foreign sources on the subject are scanned; information about social stratification and language, writing education, forms of expression, pronoun, adjective and sentence length are given. Participants of our study, which was carried out by adopting a case study pattern, which is one of the qualitative research approaches, constitutes a total of 60 students, 29 female and 31 male students studying in four primary schools in Malatya city center in the 2019-2020 academic year. The research data consist of application papers applied to students, worksheets and products revealed during the semi-structured interviews with teachers. The analysis of the data obtained as a result of the application was analyzed by the content analysis method. In order to facilitate the interpretation of the data, tables containing numerical expressions were created and interpreted. According to the results reached based on the findings of the research; In the stories of the fourth grade students who study in private primary and public primary schools; It has been determined that there is a differentiation in sentence lengths, total adjective numbers, total pronoun numbers and narrative styles by school type.
