Evaluation of language schools in Türkiye within the scope of educational tourism

Special interest tourism, which is one of the tourism activities, is the activities that tourists do for their interests in order to evaluate their leisure time. Tourists who are curious about these activities closely follow the activities that fall within the scope of their favorite topics both at home and abroad. The interest in educational tourism, which is included in these areas of interest, has also become popular with the increase in the level of education. People who are interested in educational tourism follow cultural and educational events closely. They attend many courses, especially to get an education and contribute to their personal development. For example; painting, music, yoga, sports and language courses are some of them. The demand for language courses, one of these courses, is steadily increasing. Because with the development of technology, the discovery of new places has increased. People are now interacting not only with those in their own country, but also with people from many countries. For this reason, people go to different countries both to meet these people and to go to those countries to discover themselves, to learn that culture and language. Thanks to these trips for business or educational purposes, interest in language schools has also increased. There are many language courses and language schools in the world and in Turkey. English Spanish German, French, Chinese, Dutch and Russian are the most widely spoken languages in the world, especially languages such as Spanish, German, Chinese, Dutch and language schools have come to the fore and trainings are provided for these courses. In this study, it is aimed to mention the most popular language courses and schools in the world and in Turkey. After the concept study about educational tourism and language schools, it was aimed to provide information about the countries they are located in, the founders, the year they were founded, the languages they teach, their branches in the form of tables in the findings section. In the research, case study screening model was used as a qualitative method and multiple case pattern was used as a pattern. The data about the language schools in Turkey have been selected for the purpose of description and the information necessary for the research has been obtained from many local and foreign secondary sources. In this context, the relevant field has been studied in depth in the summer. Websites, newspapers, magazines, posters and books were examined. Information about the prominent language schools/courses in the world and in Turkey is included in the findings section.
