A study from a public relations perspective on parents' satisfaction with the educational process and its application in Libyan schools in Turkey

The primary objective of public relations is to improve the corporate relations with internal and external public opinion by using communication. In this study, Public Relations activities play an important role in schools, which are seen as one of the most important institutions that shape the family and affect the future of society. In its most general sense, public relations in schools is the process of receiving positive feedback in order to bring out the best aspects of the school and to provide community support of the society. In this thesis, the main trends and notable developments in education are examined in order to reveal the satisfaction of parents, who have an important role in the educational and academic success of students, from a public relations perspective,, with the educational processes and practices of Libyan schools in Turkey. In this research, a survey was conducted with the parents of Libyan students studying in 11 Libyan Schools operating in Turkey. In the survey of 224 people; It was revealed that the majority of participants are women, that their children are satisfied with the school environment, and that teachers in these schools have mostly positive attitudes about their level of education and communication skills. On the other hand, parents stated that they are very satisfied with the size of classes, quality of education, personal development of children, satisfaction with school resources, management and educational level of schools.
