The fact of students preparation to practice on Modern Turkish music piano works by Classical occidental music piano studies utilised during piano training of institutions which train music teachers in Turkey

In this research, it is tried to specify the factors prevailing while preparing thestudents for Modern Turkish music piano works by the Classical Occidental musicpiano studies utilised during piano training process of Music Teacher Science BranchDisciplines in Turkey.In the research, some parts of data are obtained from Turkey?s Music TeacherScience Branch Discipline instructors by a questionnaire and some other parts areobtained by literature survey method.Studies and works specified in the questionnaire process have been comparedwith each other by determining their technical and musical features and the resultshave been interpreted together with the findings obtained from the answers which thepiano instructors stated for the questions of questionnaire.In the last section of the research, recommendations concerning the students?conditions of preparing for the piano studies of Classical Western Music and pianoworks of Contemporary Turkish Music.
