Deternination of the symposium and conferences hold between years of 1977-2009 as a reflection of art education in Turkey

Many subjects for development of art education were discussed in congress and symposium organized for discussion subjects in education of visual arts (painting) and evaluation of positive and negative reflections seen in terms of context in our country. However, symposiums and congresses on art education are not organized in Turkey in sufficient number. This prevents the development of art education.Since the presentation of some parts of symposiums and congresses hold in our country is not transferred to written sources, they disappear in time. In this research, the years between 1977 and 2009 of symposium and congresses were examined and their effects on art education were determined. ?Screening model? was used as the model in the research. Fort his purpose, art education history and development from 1977 to the present time was analyzed. In my Research, opinions of Ataturk were quoted mentioning his works relating to art education. In my Thesis Evaluation of the place of art in education and the place of education in the art was carried out. Literature on art education was searched. Determination of symposium and congresses hold between years of 1977 and 2009 was performed and analyzed.
