Abstract (EN)
This study investigated the changing education and life experiences of Syrian university students under temporary protection status in Turkey during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this purpose, 20 volunteer university students were interviewed online. The questions in the semi-structured interview were asked after the participants' voluntary participation consent, which was obtained through snowball sampling. The interviews were held in March-July 2021. Within the scope of the research, the themes and sub-themes were determined by conducting a content analysis of the interviews in five areas: health, education, economics, socio-culture, and psychology. The research tried to explain and interpret the information of the participants about the Covid-19 pandemic and the problems and expectations they encountered during the pandemic. It was determined that they were negatively affected in certain areas and had to struggle with a second big challenge after migration.
