Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to address the Global BEPS Action Plan's taxation challenges for multinational companies that have emerged with the globalization process. The details of the 15% Global Minimum Corporate Tax, which is proposed by the OECD with its two-legged solution strategy and which foresees taxation of multinational companies in their countries of residence against their tax base erosion and profit shifting activities, are discussed. The effects of the implementation of the Local and Global Minimum Supplementary Corporate Tax in Turkey on MNC groups and the necessity and applicability of consolidated financial statements are investigated. As determined as a result of the study, although the Second Pillar practices have imposed an obligation to inform all group companies within the scope of the Law with the Additional Articles, it is thought that the ultimate parent companies located in Turkey have the most critical obligation. It has been concluded that the financial statements of ultimate parent companies and their affiliated enterprises should be collected in a consolidated manner. It is thought that the 15% minimum tax, which is seen as a new source of tax revenue, will bring registration and notification responsibilities to taxpayers.
