The axis of religion and politics in Turkey in terms of political parties: National Order Party

In this study, ''A Party Analysis on the Axis of Religion and Politics in Turkey: Milli Nizam Party'', what is the role of the Milli Nizam Party in examining the impact of religious movements on politics? An answer to the question is also sought. In the process of modernization, the political regime, which did not see it favorable to grant the right to life to the religious sector in the political arena, had to change with the MNP; the concept of religion and religious-based expressions began to show their presence in the world of politics and the public. An Analysis of a Party in the Axis of Religion and Politics in Turkey: Milli Nizam Party, first of all, the phenomenon of religion is defined, the impact of religion on people and politics, religious studies in Turkey are mentioned, and Naqshbandism and the National Vision Movement are examined in the context of explaining the impact of religious movements on politics. The activities, discourses and ideologies of the National Vision Movement are mentioned and the establishment, ideology and activities of the National Nizam Party, which is the main subject of my study, are explained. The difference that distinguishes this study from Ramazan Akkır's study titled "National Order Party in the Context of the Relationship between Religion and Politics in Turkey (2020)" is that the subject is handled with the dimension of religious movements. It explains how the party influenced the examination of the impact of religious movements on politics and what kind of role it played in this context. The basic approach of this study is the idealist (interpretivist) social science paradigm. Since the study will reveal some specific characteristics of the National Order Party with the help of who, what, when, where and how questions in terms of religion and politics relations, a descriptive research model was adopted for the purpose of the research. Although secondary data sources are preferred in the study, the reason for this is that the validity and reliability of most of the secondary data have already been determined and accepted. Finally, this study has been conducted with special attention to preventing personal views, opinions and prejudices from affecting the research and to comply with the principles and rules of research and writing ethics.
