THE REFLECTION OF THE METHODS AND TECHNIQUES USED IN TEACHING VIOLONCELLO TO THE STUDENT AT THE MUSICAL EDUCATIONAL DEPARTMENTS OF TURKISH EDUCATIONAL FACULTIES ( Thessis For Master ) A.Gürsan SARAÇ GAZÎUNIVERSTY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY February 1992 ABSTRACT In this research, the reflection of the methods and techniques used in teaching violoncello to the student at the musical educational departments of Turkish educational faculties, has been examined in detail the steps of teaching situations. The problem of how methods and techniques practiced with violoncello are reflected to the student has been evaluated, ideas of teachers and students related to this subject has also been taken into consideration. In this research, generally "the descriptive method" has been used to determine the existing situation. The data have been got as a result of the surveys carried out to the teachers and students. At the end of this research, the methods and techniques used in violoncello have determined that the reflection to the students is generally in a positive way and "important degree", also in the steps of teaching situations "the entire" reflexion of the related question, chosen technique and all techniques have been suggested.
