Abstract (EN)

Turkey; Since it is a developing country, its internal resources are insufficient for its development, which makes the country economically dependent on foreign countries. In this case, it needs external resources very much and leaves it in a difficult situation in terms of creating resources in the country's economy. This situation constitutes the ground of the fragile structure in the economy. As of the current situation, inflation has become a growing problem. In order to explain the reason for this situation, the period between 2000-2020 was selected in the Turkish economy and it was aimed to make sense of inflation problems in the light of the mentioned periods. The thesis study is prepared in three parts. The first part contains theoretical definitions and implications of inflation. In the second part, the inflationary problems of the Turkish economy are discussed in historical perspective. In the third part, the problems that cause and effect inflation in the context of cause and effect and the problems it causes are evaluated. Inflation problems; crises, money supply, oil prices, exchange rate, budget deficits, interest, direct investments, investment and saving, factor revenues and income distribution, tax revenues and evasion, social problems are explained by addressing them. Inflation problems; After being explained in a broad perspective within the framework of crises, the problems were examined by addressing the sub-headings mentioned in the context of the problems causing inflation and the problems caused by inflation as of the periods discussed in the study, and the thesis was completed by writing the conclusions and solution proposals as a result of the findings obtained from the study.
