Studies on Ash'arism and Maturidism in Turkiye and their analysis in terms of the history of Islamic sects

Numerous studies have been conducted on Ashʿarism and Māturīdism, which constitute the theological dimension of Ahl al-Sunnah. These studies are limited to master's theses, doctoral dissertations, articles, and conference papers centered around the concepts of Ashʿarism and Māturīdism. In our study, the aforementioned academic works were first identified and documented. Subsequently, these works were analyzed in light of specific variables such as the definition, periodization, positioning, interrelations, juridical and mystical affiliations, philosophical dimensions, relationships with other sects, schools, and Sufi orders, their contributions to Islamic thought, and their connection with the concept of Ahl al-Sunnah.
