Abstract (EN)

The banking sector which forms the basis of the financial sector undertook economic functions. Therefore, the overall success and risk profile of banks has become significant. Due to the dominance of the banking sector to the market, the performance analyzes to be held in order to compete with the banks in the market, to evaluate their own performance and to predict the steps, in order to follow the economic conjuncture have taken an important place. In this study, the financial performance analysis of the top 7 domestic private banks of established in Turkey according to the asset size of Turkish Banking Sector for the period of 2010-2019 was performed by means of 7 measure by using Entropy, WASPAS and TOPSİS methods from Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods. İnitially, banks were ranked according to their financial performance with WASPAS method, then with TOPSİS method. According to result of study, firstly in WASPAS method, the highest financial performing bank has been Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş., the lowest financial performing bank has been Şekerbank A.Ş. Secondly, in TOPSİS method, the highest financial performing banks have been Türkiye Garanti Bankası A.Ş. and Akbank A.Ş., the lowest financial performing banks have been Şekerbank A.Ş. and Türkiye Ekonomi Bankası A.Ş.
