Precariat of Turkish film industry: Television series employees

Especially in the years of 2010, the Turkish serials sector started to produce successful productions. The increase in the number of viewers made the series a profitable investment for both television channels and production companies. Sequence times began to rise above world standards in the process. Currently time series published in Turkey is closer to about 150 minutes, some even from time to time (the season finale - the final chapter, etc.) goes up to that time. Find movies shot in average 90-150 minutes in Turkey and made about 3 to 8 weeks for shooting this period continues for at least one month post-production stages. However, the series have a total of one week duration for shooting - post production stages that exceed this period. The negative effects of this on working conditions cannot be ignored. The persons interviewed were actively selected from among those working in the film industry. With the interviews, it is aimed to determine the production relations of the sector examined from the economic political perspective, the situation of the employees hosting the characteristics of the precariary and the profile of the employees.
