Relationship between migration and urbanization, crime and criminality in Turkey: Example of Istanbul

Migration and urbanization are the most effectual facts that in last sixty years in Turkey. Criminal cases placed in country?s agenda specially in last years that Our cities encountered instant and dense migration that occured in our country without any preparation. Also because of migrating peoples didn?t come to cities with enough professional or qualified labour, they confronted to many social, cultural and economical problems. These can be listed shortly, in economical angle, joblessness, poverty, unregistered employments, for social angle, being marginalized, inadaptability, corruption in values of family and antiquities, decreasing in communal supervision(social control), sub-culture, arabesque culture and the last psychologicallly, stres, loneliness, psychosises and depression.Actually, crime and criminality, as seen social matter, occurs results of combining of all these before-mentioned. In other words, when problems that bearing within cities merges the problems experienced by peoples, that wrong actions can be seen among individuals.Crime cases hasn?t seen with the people who had come to cities first. However, because of being seen economical problems in migrating people mostly, being committed offenses against property seen mostly in cities. Our youth is being effected badly from enviroment, corrupt organizations and drugs, for that reason they are in very serious danger. Although the children are in same danger, they are thrusted to faults for social and economical troubles experienced in family.As a result, migrating people has not come to city for commiting crime.
