Abstract (EN)

The change process in the globelizing world is also taking place in our country. In this context, the urbanization process, which gained momentum especially after 1950s, contrary to the effects of industrialization in developed countries; unemployment, life safety, family and village disputes, climatic conditions, health reasons, educational status, etc. It is based on the migration movements resulting from leaving the places where they live for many reasons. Individuals who come to the city through migration in our country have certain problems in their newly settled cities and in the process of urbanization. In particular, individuals who suddenly change their environment are faced with more difficult and different problems than the existing problems in rural areas. When we address these problems; as a result of economic, political and cultural changes and developments experienced due to migration from rural areas to the city, it causes classifications within the social structure. In fact, it causes economic and social injustices between the urban inhabitants and the villagers who come to the city. In addition to the problems faced by individuals during rural to urban migration, migration mobility towards cities also presents some problems in the physical structure of cities. Especially, shanty housing and infrastructure problems are the most important. Other problems are Environmental problems, Distorted urbanization, Housing and Soil problem. The aim of this work in the world and Turkey to determine the general characteristics of migration and urbanization, migration phenomenon, is to deal with the definition and historical development of cities and urbanization. The aim of this course is to examine how urbanization phenomenon which is realized as a result of migration mobility is affected from socio-economic aspect within the framework of cause and effect. In Turkey the reasons for migration and mobility issues that arise as a result of migration is discussed. In the last section, a field study was conducted to determine the causes, consequences and effects of the internal migration to Çerkezköy and comments were made with the help of tables and graphs.
