Examination of activities on school, family and environmental collaboration at primary school level in Turkey

The aim of this research is to examine the studies on school-parent cooperation, family participation and school-environment cooperation at primary school level in Turkey. For this purpose, document analysis technique was used within the scope of qualitative research method in the research. Research data were obtained by using academic publications of universities, e-journals and institutions, especially Google Academic, TR Index, Research Gate, Dergipark and YÖK Thesis Center. In this context, a total of 45 studies, including 25 articles and 20 master's theses, were reached. Descriptive analysis technique was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, looking at the distribution of the studies by years, it was seen that the most studies were carried out in 2022 and the number of studies increased after 2019. Considering the institutions where the studies were carried out, it was seen that 43 studies were carried out in public schools, and 2 studies were carried out together in public and private schools. Within the scope of the research, it was understood that 27 of the studies were quantitative, 16 of them were qualitative and 2 of them were mixed design studies. When the studies were examined according to their participants, it was seen that the most common study was with parents (14). In the studies examined within the scope of the research, it was seen that the most used data collection tools were the questionnaire (17) and the interview (15).
