Abstract (EN)
In this study, the unemployment problem, which has become a major problem in the world, has been prepared in order to examine how the unemployed individuals can get a job offer more quickly and to find a job or shorten their unemployment period. A questionnaire was prepared for this purpose. It is important to examine the number of unemployed individuals receiving job offers in the survey. It has been taken into consideration in the previous studies in the preparation of the survey. The questionnaires were made with unemployed individuals in 13 provinces in from different regions of Turkey. A total of 2162 questionnaires were administered. In this study, negative binomial model is applied because of over dispersion. By comparing the reasons that affect individuals' getting job offers, it is tried to make suggestions that unemployed individuals will find jobs more easily and faster whatever they do, or which features they have. This study examines unemployed individuals according to gender, age, education, vocational training, internship, job search methods and alcohol use. As a result, as the education level of the individual increases, the number of job offers decreases.
