Abstract (EN)
In this study, unemployment, which has become almost the most important problem of the labor market in the globalizing world, with a general overview the unemployment rate of unemployed people by trying to determine factors that affect the unemployment period. For this purpose, a survey data set was prepared by examining previous studies. The study is important because many variables are affected by this survey dataset on the duration of unemployment. This prepared is applied unemployed people in 13 cities in order to represent different regions of Turkey. The total number of surveys applied is 2162. In the study using the survival analysis method, socio-economic and demographic factors that affect the unemployment duration of the individuals are examined.Results of Kaplan Meier and log-rank test from nonparametric methods ; findings of Gompertz model is found in parametric methods. Expectations about variables which may have an impact on the unemployment rate and Unemployment in the light of findings obtained by comparing findings and suggestions are given to reduce the duration of unemployment.
