Adaptation problems of refugees related to urban life were discussed. In this study, the adaptation process of Syrian refugees living in Giresun was analyzed by doing a field survey. A field survey was conducted using the questionnaire method to find out the adaptation processes of Syrian refugees to the city. The data related to the questionnaire were evaluated with frequency analysis and multiple response analysis in SPSS 21 program. When the adaptation process of the Syrian refugees living in Giresun is examined, it is seen that they have problems in the field of education, housing, employment, health and social relations. The problems that refugees are facing in these areas have weakened the adaptation process to the city.
