Abstract (EN)

In the first part of this theses, the words of propaganda and perception have been examined from a conceptual point of view. In the second part, propaganda tools and mass communication are discussed. In the the third chapter, the propaganda history is examined. In the period of Coalition in Turkey, which is the main topic of our thesis since the fourth chapter, the topic of political perception and propaganda has begun to be discussed. The fifth section of the thesis was formed under the heading 'Political Propaganda in the Period of Coalition Governments in terms of Methods, Media Tools'. In this context, propaganda tools such as cinema, television-radio, wall writings, books, newspapers, magazines, brochures and posters which were influential in the period were evaluated. This is the first time that Turkey has encountered television broadcasting. Within the same chapter, the way in which the propagation of the structure propaganda in Turkey has been carefully considered. This issue has been carefully addressed since propaganda through representation is an important method. Between 1970 and 1980, it was tried to show how education was sacrificed to propaganda.During the years 1970-1980 political advertising started in Turkey. For this reason, popular music was first used in the propaganda work of political parties. For this reason, a separate sub-title has been opened for music. The rallies and walks were a method of political propaganda that political groups frequently resorted to between 1970-1980. The most remarkable part of this chapter is that we think that the title is "Propaganda Against the Destruction of the Hope Perception of Ecevit". In the sixth part, the political perception issue was dealt with during the Coalition Governments' period. The information we have obtained as a result of oral history studies has been evaluated under the heading "The Present Perception of Those Today's Youngsters About Those Days". It has been researched how the reaction of the political actors of Ecevit, Demirel, Erbakan and Turkes occurred. In the last part of the thesis, local mayor or deputy from 1970-1980 went out of the way and tried to illustrate the local propaganda issue.
