Public fiscal policies applied during business cycle period in Türkiye

Since its foundation, the Turkish economy has had to struggle with many crises in a little while. from this perspective, this study analyzes the fiscal policies implemented by Turkey as of 1980 within the scope of the struggle against cyclical periods. The aim of the study is to evaluate the public budgetary policies implemented in Turkey during cyclicazaleriods by evaluating each period in its own specificity and conditions, to reveal the measures implemented in detail in terms of fiscal policy and fils ilaw and to evaluate their effectiveness. The 1980 crisis is taken as the starting point of the study. The reason for this is that 1980 was the 77 in which the Turkish economy underwent a structural transformation and the year of opening up to the cretide warld was a period in which important steps were taken in cconomic terms. In the study, the document analysis method is used to analyze the public finance policies implemented by Turkey in cyclical periods since 1980. The reasons for the occurrence of crises, their formation processes and the policies implemented are analyzed. As a result, each period has been evaluated in its own Salial and conditions and the results of the policies implemented have been revealed. As a result of the evaluations made, the Turkish economy has struggled with the existing structural economic problems in each crisis period and has implemented stabilization programs for this purpose. These programs have produced positive or negative results according to the structure of the period and the existing conditions, and have had significant clients in the Economy. As a result of the study, it was observed that public financial policies were frequently used in crises in Turkey. It is clearly seen that fiscal policies are important in solutions to the negative effects of this conjuncture.
