Encountered problems of english teachers who teach atsecondary schools in teaching foreign language in Turkeyand in Kyrgyzstan

The purpose of this research is to identify the encountered problems of English teachers who teach at Secondary Schools in Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. This research is a qualitative study and is in the pattern of a holistic multiple case study. For this study, criterion sampling which is a type of purposive sampling methods within qualitative sampling methods was used. 8 English teachers who were volunteers to participate in the study and work in a secondary school in Turkey (Antalya city, Manavgat and Kemer province) and in Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek city, Aksu end Naryn province), were chosen as the sample; while doing this, the seniority and full-time working of the teachers in their current school was a consideration point. Data in the study were collected by individual interviews. Interviews that were carried out with the help of semi-structured question forms and interviews lasting 30-45 minutes were recorded and the content analysis was applied to them. Opinions obtained from interviews were categorized under main and sub-themes. Results of the study contain the findings that reflect the opinions of teachers under the themes above and these findings helped to understand the teaching problems English teachers experienced and how instructional problems to be solved.
